Braces made of carbon composite and other rigid material should be checked regularly to ensure that all screws, swivel tabs, and hinges are secure and not loose or damaged. Please contact us if you have any concerns about these areas. Padding should be cleaned regularly so the build up of dirt does not cause skin irritation. Padding should be rinsed with very mild soap (Tip: do not put soap directly on the padding but mix in the water first so it is easier to rinse out of the material) rinse thoroughly and allowed to air dry. Custom braces made of rigid material should be brought in for inspection yearly (there is not charge for the assessment)
